I’ve decided to make this a weekly thing (hopefully). One of my favorite bloggers/Instagrammers/photographers posts sometimes about the photos she took with her iPhone during the week. (If you’re on Instagram, check her out! And also the #shotoniphone hashtag!) She also has a December photo challenge going on: #eyecandyholidaychallenge, which I am attempting.
I don’t really use my phone much as a camera anymore, but I do have a few to share from this past week. (All photos edited in VSCOcam with the B2, E1, and K3 filters).
We had some pretty amazing sunrises this week, along with snow, downpours with thunder and hail, 45mph wind, and some sunshine at times.
Hannah chose this fawn for her 2017 ornament. Lauren didn’t want one, and Avery chose a really spiky star. I picked a moose, of course.
The rest of the photos are from Friday – Lauren’s 10th birthday. She had a 10-year check-up (no shots – blood work and x-rays will be done the first week of January).
Since her appointment was at 8:30, she got to come with me to drop Hannah off. She really liked that and got to see her para from kindergarten (Hi, Jen!)
While we were waiting to take Hannah to her class, we played around with Snapchat. I don’t know why they have this filter, but they do.
This was the sky opposite of the sun Friday morning. So pretty. It didn’t take long for the clouds to roll in, bringing wind and snow.
This shot was from last night. It’s the view from my brother’s new rental place. Not too bad, Minnesota.
I’m looking forward to the next week! It’s my last week of school before break, I have an IEP meeting for Lauren, two Christmas programs and maybe some Christmas shopping. I’m running out of time! Have a great week!
